Effective March 1, 2018, N-Vision Optics is providing the following
warranties to its domestic customers, on products purchased after
March 1, 2018:
- All night vision systems, manufactured by N-Vision Optics are
covered by a 10 year warranty. The 10 year warranty applies to the
following systems: GT-14, PVS-14, G15.
- All thermal imaging systems manufactured by N-Vision Optics are
covered by a 5 year warranty. The 5 year warranty applies to the
following product lines: ATLAS, HALO, NOX.
Obtaining Warranty Service
Should your product require service under warranty, please fill in
RMA Request Form above. Upon receipt of your information, we will
e-mail you an RMA form with return instructions. Please make sure to
put a copy of that form inside the package. All products should be
fully insured with the correct postage; N-Vision Optics, LLC will
not be responsible for improper packaged or damaged units during
shipment.
Warranty Details
Products purchased from N-Vision Optics, LLC are guaranteed to be
free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship under
normal use for periods as stated above from the date of purchase. In
the event a defect that is covered by this warranty occurs during
the period stated above, N-Vision Optics, LLC, at its discretion,
will either repair or replace the product, and such action on the
part of N-Vision Optics, LLC shall be the full extent of the
company’s liability, and the Customer’s sole and exclusive remedy.
This warranty does not cover products that:
- Were used in other than its normal and customary manner;
- Were misused;
- Were altered, modified or repaired by the Customer or by any party
other than N-Vision Optics, LLC, without the prior written consent
of N-Vision Optics, LLC (this includes removal or replacement of serial number markings/stickers)
- Were discontinued by the manufacturer and either parts or
replacement units are not available due to reasons beyond the
control of N-Vision Optics LLC.
N-Vision Optics, LLC shall not be responsible for any defects or
damage that in the company’s opinion resulted from the mishandling,
abuse, misuse, improper storage or improper operation, including use
in conjunction with equipment which is electrically or mechanically
incompatible with or of inferior quality to the product, as well as
failure to maintain the environmental conditions specified by the
manufacturer.
NIGHT VISION: CUSTOMER IS HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT OPERATION OF THE EQUIPMENT DURING
DAYLIGHT HOURS OR UNDER ANY EXCESSIVE LIGHT CONDITIONS MAY
PERMANENTLY DAMAGE THE INTERNAL COMPONENTS OF THE UNIT AND SAID
DAMAGE WILL NOT BE COVERED UNDER THIS WARRANTY.
Any breach of this warranty shall be waived unless the customer
notifies N-Vision Optics, LLC at the address noted below within the
applicable warranty period. The customer understands and agrees that
except for this warranty, no other warranties written or oral,
statutory, expressed or implied, including any implied warranty of
merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, shall apply to
the product. All such implied warranties are hereby and expressly
disclaimed.
Limitation of Liability
N-Vision Optics, LLC will not be liable for any claims, actions,
suits, proceedings, costs, expenses, damages or liabilities arising
from the use of this product. Operation and use of the product are
the sole responsibility of the Customer. The provision of products
sold and services performed by N-Vision Optics, LLC to the Customer
shall not be interpreted, construed, or regarded, either expressly
or implied, as being for the benefit of or creating any obligation
toward any third party of legal entity outside N-Vision Optics, LLC
and the Customer. The remedies of purchaser set forth herein are
exclusive and the total liability of N-Vision Optics, LLC whether
based on contract, warranty, negligence, indemnification, strict
liability or otherwise, shall not exceed the purchase price of the
unit upon which liability is based. In no event shall N-Vision
Optics, LLC, be liable for consequential, incidental or special
damages.
Return Policy
Items returned within 30 days of purchase will receive a full refund
upon inspection, less shipping costs. 15% restocking fee will be
applied to volume purchasing of orders of 10 units or more. No
returns will be accepted after 30 days.
Important: You must contact N-Vision Optics, LLC for a return
authorization number. Without this number, returned merchandise will
not be accepted. This number must appear on the outside of the
returned box. Be sure to enclose a copy of your original invoice
with your returned merchandise. All items returned for exchange or
refund must be new and unused and must include the original
packaging, manuals and all accessories.
Shipping & handling, and COD charges are non-refundable. Return
shipping and insurance costs are the responsibility of the customer.
No returned parcels will be accepted freight collect or COD.
N-Vision Optics, LLC is not responsible for returned merchandise
that is damaged in shipping or otherwise.
Refunds or credits will be adjusted accordingly in the event items
are missing or damaged. Special orders, close-outs and products sold
“as is” cannot be returned. Returned items which have been damaged
as a result of inadequate packaging, neglect, (i.e. burned
intensifier tubes, cracked housing, cracked optics, stripped thumb
screws, etc.) will be returned to the customer.
N-Vision Optics, LLC, Inc. reserves the right to refuse the
merchandise or re-ship the merchandise to the customer under the
following conditions:
- The return authorization number was not visible on the outside of
the box.
- The merchandise was incomplete, damaged, used or scratched.
- The original invoice was not included.
- The merchandise was ordered by credit card and order was cancelled
after the credit card was processed.
- The merchandise was ordered but delivery was refused by or for the
customer.
Repair After Expiration of Warranty
N-Vision Optics, LLC shall make every effort to repair your unit at
a reasonable cost after expiration of the warranty. However,
extensive damage may or may not be repairable. The customer will be
provided with a cost estimate prior to any work being performed.
