Lightweight and fully waterproof, the N-Vision Optics ATLAS Thermal Binocular is extremely robust and capable. Constructed with durable composite plastics, ATLAS delivers a high-resolution thermal image with extended detection, recognition, and identification ranges in even the most challenging conditions.
The long-lasting battery life makes ATLAS the ideal tool for seafarers who demand nothing but the best equipment on the water.

Practice safety and security while performing navigation, surveillance, and search and rescue operations by effectively detecting threats to ship and crew safety.

Detect in Complete Darkness

An amazing tool that enables you to observe targets in complete darkness and in adverse weather conditions. ATLAS is ideal for surveillance, marine navigation, nighttime hunting, wildlife observation, and search and rescue operations.

Capture and Store Media

Capture photos and record real time thermal videos. Easily display images and video on your personal laptop or monitor via ATLAS’ USB or Analog Video Output. Share your thermal fun with family and friends.

Prevent Casualties

In all conditions, ATLAS delivers a powerful tool during man overboard situations by allowing the spotter to maintain visual contact and accurately guide the crew in recovery operations.

Ultra High Performance Thermal Binoculars

Easily detect and avoid obstacles such as buoys, rocks, old pilings, unlit watercraft or floating debris with ATLAS’s four selectable polarity modes: Black Hot, White Hot, Color, and Edge Detect.

ATLAS’ no-slip rubberized housing provides its user with a durable and waterproof unit capable of detecting a man sized object from over a mile away.

ATLAS thermal binocular is a perfect solution for every boater. Be confident in all seen and unforeseen situations, including harsh weather, loss of direction, and darkness with the reliable, lightweight and waterproof ATLAS thermal binocular.

Of all U.S. recreational boating accidents recorded in 2016, 351 man-overboard scenarios occurred resulting in 183 deaths. Give your search and rescue operations higher odds for success with the ATLAS Thermal Binocular from N-Vision Optics.

Can I transfer photographs captured with the ATLAS Thermal Binocular to my personal computer?
Yes, images can easily be transferred from the ATLAS Thermal Binocular to your personal computer via USB.
How many polarity modes are available on the ATLAS Thermal Binocular?
The ATLAS Thermal Binocular offers 4 different polarity modes including White Hot, Black Hot, Thermal Color, and a unique Edge Detect mode not found on any other commercially available thermal binoculars.
At what range do you claim the ATLAS Thermal Binocular can detect the heat signature of a human head while floating in the water?

Based on our observations under different conditions we are reasonably confident that a man’s head sized heat signature would be detectable in the water up to approximately 1000 meters away. However, we do not pretend to claim a specific range for this type of incident.
We, just like everybody else, base our detection (as well as recognition and identification) ranges off of the US Army DRI model for detection of a standard man size figure.

There are no industry/military accepted DRI modeling tools for man overboard conditions. This is one of the reasons we don’t specify what it is or may be. Ranges of detection are influenced by many environmental factors such as water temperature, moisture levels in the air, the size of the individual / object being identified, the qualification level of the observer, etc. In cases of a man overboard recovery, the height of the waves and elevation of the observation point from the sea level are also very important.

What is included in the ATLAS Thermal Binocular Kit?
The ATLAS Thermal Binocular Kit includes and ATLAS Thermal Binocular, Rugged Carrying Case, Neck Strap, Lens Cover, and Lens Cleaning Kit.
How long is the battery life for the ATLAS Thermal Binocular?
The ATLAS Thermal Binocular’s (3) CR-123 batteries provide a continuous operating life of approximately 4 hours.
How much does the ATLAS Thermal Binocular weigh?
The ATLAS Thermal Binocular weighs 575g / 20.2 oz.
Is there a price difference between the 9Hz and 60Hz models of the ATLAS Thermal Binocular?
No. The price is the same for both the 9Hz and 60Hz models of the ATLAS Thermal Binocular.
What is the ATLAS Thermal Binocular’s Field of View?
The ATLAS Thermal Binocular’s Field of View is 9″ x 7″.

Whether docked at the marina, at anchor, or underway, ATLAS Thermal Binoculars assure ship security by effectively detecting threats to ship and crew safety.
