Opto-Mechanical Engineer
N-Vision Optics is looking for an experienced mechanical engineer who will become an integral part of our development network.
Successful candidate must be a designer and innovator at heart. Someone who truly enjoys creation of the cost driven designs for highly ergonomic, reliable, and practical products for military and law enforcement applications. The successful candidate will be able to take on full project responsibilities, work independently and complete complex tasks without step-by-step instructions.
Minimum requirements:
1. Desire to work and succeed in the small company atmosphere.
2. 4-6 years experience in mechanical engineering, 2+ years experience in a field involving precision engineering.
3. Ultimate familiarity with SolidWorks.
4. Hands-on experience designing complex injection-molded components.
Additional Considerations:
Masters Degree in Mechanical and/or Optical Engineering preferred.
Hands-on experience with alignment/ troubleshooting of sophisticated lens assemblies and/or experience developing hand-held opto-electronic devices is a huge plus.
Must be a US Citizen or Greencard holder.
